All about the Grand Prix de l’Age d’Or (Dijon) 6-9 June 2025.

The Grand Prix de l’Age d’Or held at the Dijon Prenois circuit is surprisingly relatively unknown in the UK. We don't know why because the rolling landscape means some challenging corners for the drivers and excellent views of the action for the spectators. Being located in Burgundy surrounded by lovely countryside full of vineyards is an added bonus!

This event began as the Coupes de l’Age d’Or in 1964 at the Rouen-les-Essarts circuit as part of the French Formula 1 Grand Prix programme. This makes it the oldest historic car meeting in France. Its new home at Dijon will always be remembered as the venue for one of most thrilling F1 battles when Gilles Villeneuve and Rene Arnoux fought wheel to wheel in the final laps of the 1979 race.

One ticket gives access to all areas of the circuit, including the atmospheric paddock where you can watch the cars being prepared while talking to their drivers and mechanics.

Attending this event is not only about the action at the circuit because you will also be able to explore the world famous vineyards on the Route des Grands Crus and visit the FIA Heritage Museum at Chateau Savigny-les-Beaune.

Parade Laps

Experience this thrilling undulating circuit yourself by taking your own car onto the track during the 20 minute Parade Lap sessions available throughout the weekend.

The Parade Laps are not a track day but helmets are mandatory for all drivers and passengers taking part. More information about the Parade Laps is available here.
